Solar Installer IThis position will be based out of our Centennial, CO location.We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Solar Installer I to join our growing operations team. This is an entry-level role focused on hands-on rooftop solar installation with on-the-job training provided.Job Responsibilities:Become familiar with the techniques, approaches, and fixtures of solar panel and battery installationAssist with layout, assembly, and installation of solar arrays and mounting hardwareAssist with mechanical and structural mounting of racks, modules, and electrical equipmentPreparation and cleanup of job siteCommunicate with customers in a professional, considerate mannerAdditional duties as requiredRequirements:Construction experience and comfortable on roofs of varied height and slope0-1 years of experienceRegular, reliable, and predictable attendance requiredREQUIRED: Must have a clean driving record for the last 3 years and a minimum of 5 years of driving experience, in accordance with PB insurance parameters — no exceptionsMust be motivated and a team playerPositive attitude with the willingness to learn and growExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a teamMust be able to lift panels (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders up to 30 times per day, and work in various weather conditionsExperience installing Solar PV is a plus. Preference given to candidates with an Electrical Apprentice license or NABCEP certification. Please note this role is focused primarily on roof installations, though electrical knowledge is beneficial.Pay for this position is $21-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime opportunities may be available depending on seasonality and business needs.This full-time role is eligible to participate in health (one plan is less than $35 per pay check!), dental, and vision insurance.
