About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Wood Finishers for a custom wood products manufacturing company in Little Falls, MN. In this role, you'll help produce high-quality finished wood products while ensuring they meet customer specifications and company quality standards. - Inspect finished products for defects, quality concerns, and appearance standards
- Repair or correct finishing defects when possible
- Maintain finishing equipment, tools, and work areas
- Document production and quality results accurately
- Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling practices
- Assist with production and warehouse duties as needed based on workflow demands
What You Need to Bring to the Wood Finisher Role: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or wood finishing experience preferred
- Ability to accurately distinguish colors (color vision required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
- Ability to safely work around finishing chemicals while wearing required PPE
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
